Volunteer With Us
At I Will Thrive, volunteers are an essential part of helping young adults ages 18–23 gain the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed for independent living.
Whether you have professional experience, a useful skill, or simply a heart for helping others, your time can make a meaningful difference.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers may assist with:
Share Your Skills
We welcome educators, nurses, social workers, mental health professionals, financial professionals, business owners, tradespeople, college students, parents, and community members with skills or experiences they would like to share.
You don't have to be an expert to make an impact. Sometimes, offering encouragement, listening without judgement, or teaching one practical skill can help a young adult feel more prepared for the future.
What We Look for in Volunteers
Our volunteers should be dependable, patient, respectful, encouraging, and committed to creating a safe environment.
Because we serve young adults who may have experienced foster care, loss, instability, or trauma, volunteers must approach every participant with compassion and understanding.
Some positions may require an application, interview, references, or background screening before volunteering.
